This vz. 61 machine pistol was cut in half before its importation into the United States. It was made in 1964, and imported from the Czech Republic in 2016. I reverse engineered the original receiver from the torch-cut pieces that were present in the original shipment. I then printed a new receiver in nylon-12. The new receiver is only semi-automatic, and lacks the original folding stock for legal reasons. I hate to see historical artifacts destroyed, and I figured this would be an interesting way to preserve one.
